Arise 4 Babies

At Arise Family Church, we believe in shining a light in the darkest moments—especially for those who are most vulnerable, like newborn babies and young mothers in crisis.

Arise4Babies is a hope-inspired outreach ministry filled with sincere compassion for little ones entering the world under difficult circumstances. Our mission is simple yet powerful:
To bless new moms at our local Worcester Hospital with a “Bag of Light”—a lovingly handmade baby bag filled with essential baby and mom items.

This small gesture brings great comfort and hope to mothers who may have nothing or very little for their newborns. We also support underaged girls who are victims of rape and face motherhood unexpectedly and unprepared. Through this ministry, we offer them practical support—and a reminder that they are not alone.

What’s in a “Bag of Light”?

  • 5x Diapers (Newborn or Size 1)

  • 2x Vests (Size 0-3 months)

  • 2x Face cloths

  • 100g Baby soap bar

  • 1x Receiving blanket

  • 1x Knitted hoodie, booties & jersey (0-3 months)

  • 100g Petroleum jelly / Vaseline

  • Small bottle of surgical spirits

  • 1x Wet wipes

  • An uplifting magazine for mom (baby-related if possible)

  • 3x Babygrows (Size 0–3 months)

  • Baby socks

  • 1x Spit cloth or bib

  • 100g Soap bar for mom

  • 1x Warm fleece/knitted blanket

  • 1x Soft toy

  • Cotton wool

  • Sanitizer & face mask for mom

  • Christian literature – journal, Bible, or devotional

We also gladly accept donations of wool, fabric, or thread to help sew the cloth baby-bags.
